Caroline Sieber chose to wear Christopher Kane Resort 2013 to the Christian Dior Haute-Couture show yesterday. The stylist wore the Pink Sheer, Print and Pleated Pelmet Dress teamed with strapped black flat sandals to see Raf Simons’ first show for the french fashion house.

I have to say I have been truly blessed this year so far, just before my trip to New York in February I won a camera by entering the Dr Martens #FirstandForever competition, I was contacted a couple of days later to ask me if I’d like a Style Scrapbook for Kipling camera bag a month prior to the release…of course I did!
I had enquired about this bag with the PR last year when I saw Andy Torres (Style Scrapbook blogger) with it on her blog, it had such an amazing response that they would be running a whole new line. So you can imagine my excitement when I received the email telling me I could have one, especially after I’d just won the camera I wanted to buy! I was stopped so many times during both New York and London fashion weeks, people just wanting to snap the camera bag! With the trend led perforated leather mixed with waxed canvas material this bag is the perfect mix of textures, the padded interior protects your camera perfectly (trust me I know). It’s the perfect style companion, this collection has 3 more lines added; the Medium and Small bags for the compact and digital cameras as well as the Digi Touch Sleeve for your iPad. The collection is available in 3 colours black, tangerine, and vanilla cream.
I had an amazing pic of Andy and myself at a party in New York with our camera bags, hers black (jealous) and mine vanilla cream. Alas, the person that took the picture couldn’t find it when I needed it *sad face* I’m sure we’ll see each other again and take another one.
We saw a slew of beautiful gowns glide down the red carpet at last nights Oscars, most of which were white (or close to). Milla Jovovitch kicked off the trend looking stunning in Elie Saab Couture. One of the best dressed for me, also rocking the white trend was Gwentyth Paltrow in Tom Ford, the cape was everything for me. Both her and Rooney made me miss Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton, but in a good way. Take a look at the white looks on the Oscar Red Carpet, what was your fave?

Shailene Woodley in Valentino Couture
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji
Rooney Mara in Givenchy Couture
Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad

I really don’t know what to think of Cameron Diaz’s Oscars red carpet look, I mean it’s by no means bad but I don’t think it’s amazing! The actress wore a strapless off white gown by Gucci with a very simple bodice and a skirt of chiffon and sequins. As I said before I’m not a huge ruffles fan but I live for sequins, maybe this is what saved it for me. I’m also not a fan of the throwback “There’s Something About Mary” hair, she’s boring me.
Gwenie P literally made me gasp when I saw her on the Oscars red carpet! She was giving me Cate Blanchett in the white Tom Ford gown complete with major shouldered full length cape. From my reaction alone she has to be Best Dressed, but then there was Milla and Rooney! Hmm…tough call!
What are your thoughts on Gwenyth Paltrow’s fashion forward Oscar look?
Jenny from the block showed up at the 84th Annual Academy Awards in a sheer panelled Zuhair Murad gown. The crystal beaded nude gown covered her body like nothing else, she looked amazing but I’m not sure if it was right for the Oscars, maybe another Versace/Grammy moment?
I really expected to see Rooney Mara in black at the 84th Annual Academy Awards, she surprised me by showing up in a stunning white Givenchy Couture gown with structured detail on the bust. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo actress had me spinning with her hair and make up! It was totally on point, the bangs were perfection jet black against stark white topped of with a scarlet lip.
I’m now looking forward to seeing where her look will go from here.
Help actress Jessica Chastain wore a custom made Alexander McQueen gown to the 84th Annual Academy Awards. The black organza gown, designed by Sarah Burton was embroidered in ornate gold thread from top to bottom! She looked wonderful in the gown and completely comfortable, accessorising with $2 million worth of Harry Winston yellow diamonds and that confidence that tells us she knows she looks amazing because she feels amazing!
