Brace yourselves Versace/Versus lovers, next Tuesday 14th, at 09.00pm UK time Donatella Versace will be hosting a Versace Google+ Hangout On Air from her NYC showroom to give fashion lovers a sneak preview of the new Versus Versace label, relaunching on May 15th.

The hangout on air will be hosted by Jay Strut and will feature influential bloggers and models from around the world.

The following day, Wednesday May 15th, Versace will kick off their first-ever Google+ photo walk from the New York event, featuring photos taken by fashion bloggers, celebrities and guests attending the event.

Versace will continue to highlight collaboration and co-creation with fashion lovers in their Versus Community.

The Great Gatsby soundtrack is a soundtrack that will not only be an amazing accompaniment to what is set to be the biggest movie of the year, but will also be the soundtrack to add to your music library! With tracks from Florence & the Machine, Lana Del Rey, Beyonce, Andre 3000, and The XX (to name a few) and all produced by Jay Z (?!) What’s not to love. Cannot wait for this epicness to drop!

After attending the River Island AW13 press day last week the Autumn/Winter wishlist has gotten a little more weighty than intended. The overall collection was full of great hero pieces such as leather track pants; statement coats in bold hues; neoprene tops and dresses; and great monochrome and navy pieces with hints of cobalt blue and orange.

The jewellery and accessories deserve a wardrobe all of their own, huge statement necklaces, a great selection of rings, bracelets, and bangles; skyscraper heels; oversized slouchy bags, box clutches, and ponyskin satchels.

Pieces will start to filter into stores from July/August. What’s on your RI wish list?

I don’t know if it’s the dress or the pose, but Alicia does not look good right here. Aside from that isn’t she always wearing this kind of top?! I feel like I’ve seen this shape on her so many times.

Carolyn Murphy chose to wear this Nina Ricci dress to the Met Gala. This shape is awful, from the waist up it’s actually kinda cute but from the waist down…NO! If it was figure hugging all the way down, maybe with the feathers running into a lil train? Then it might just work for her and the event.

This is upsetting, usually Beyonce + Givenchy + Met Gala red carpet = ACE; not in 2013 though! The dress, the split, the train, the fire, the boots, the gloves, the croc bodice, the shelf like chest…it’s all a little too much Bey. If this is to be worn anywhere, it’s the stage.

This Atelier Versace look is NOT for Elizabeth Banks, the Brian Atwood heels are genius, along with the clutch; but the gold sequin blazer? I can’t. Maybe if it were a different colour it might work on her, but right now all I can see is Beyonce at Glastonbury. I think silver would have changed the look entirely.

The theme was Punk! That does not mean throw on a Ralph Lauren gown and a “punk” inspired earring Emilia Clarke!

Did Emma Roberts get the memo(s)? The first one being the Met Gala is where you make your fashion statement; the second being PUNK!!!

Emma Watson in this dress is like Sofia Vergara in a nun’s habit…just plain wrong! First of all the styling is null and void; second of all it does absolutely nothing for her figure; and third of all she looks completely out of place and uncomfortable!

I have no words for Greta Gerwig who is apparently wearing Saint Laurent. I’m not sure what she’s going for with this hair and make up, she looks like the woman from T’Pau.

Jessica Biel is so cute and has a stunning body, however, she’s so hit and miss when it comes to fashion. Maybe she should have gone for the androgynous look and wore Justin’s Suit & Tie.

I really am not feeling this Jason Wu look on Jessica Pare, I really want to because the colour is so cute and it looked great on the runway. However it looks like she’s wearing a jellyfish with trousers.

Who can Karolina Kurkova go from being the bell of the Met Ball looking so regal in this last year; then show up in this Mary Katrantzou dress this year?! I don’t get it, and I don’t like it! Shoes are cute though.

Kate Mara wore this dress by Delpozo, which does nothing what-so-ever for her figure. A peplum is supposed to be on a pencil skirt or a skinny trouser, not a full skirt!

How on earth is Kimmy supposed to Instagram pics with her hands all bound up in this gloved dress?

Linda Evangelista, you are a supermodel; where is your body under all that tulle?! She looks like some member of royalty from medieval times.

Madonna got the memo alright! She got the memo 10 times over! She threw bells, whistles, studs, chains, and the kitchen sink onto this Givenchy number.

Nicki, Nicki, Nicki, did you even like this Tommy Hilfiger look? This was an opportunity for Ms Minaj to turn it out!!! What s this?! So disappointed.

Again, the look was PUNK!

Anne Hathaway redeemed herself on the red carpet wearing vintage Valentino. The sheer black gown with feather trimmed cuffs gave a nod to Cher’s Oscar look of how many years ago but was brought bang up to date with an almost painted on sleeves, major cutout details, some side-boobage, and an androgynous bleach blonde do.

Solange Knowles gave full on afrocentricity in this blue printed number by Kenzo; the all over print, statement earrings, and minimal heels are a match made in heaven. The huge afro finishes the look of nicely, that bit of a yellow dress adds a great pop to the photo also.

This is why we love Sarah Jessica Parker!!! She worked this Punk: Chaos to Couture thing to the last stitch! The dress with gold leaf print by Giles looks great on her, and that Philip Treacy mohawk headpiece is absolutely KILLER. She finished the look with Christian Louboutin heels.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore Gucci, the dress showcased a mesh top with strategically placed applique and gold fringing on the cuffs, with a plain olive green skirt. The model wore the top half of her hair slicked back and the back down, she finished the look off with a red lip and diamond drop earrings.

Rooney Mara in this white Givenchy dress! The barely there make up, slicked back hair and dark lip turned this look out.

Nicole Richie showed up in custom Topshop with dark stiletto nails, studded ear cuffs, a glowing face with a hot dark lip, and Mr Jay-esque silver hair.

I’m sorry but right now Miley Cyrus can do NO wrong! She wore a black mesh Marc Jacobs dress, teamed with oversize rings, spiked hair, and a red lip.

Katy Perry wore a crown to the Met Gala, I guess this makes her queen of the red carpet? The pale face, dark hair/lip combo is a winner with this full on metallic sequinned get up from Dolce & Gabanna.

Joan Smalls showed up with the best accessory, Tom Ford, in a black lace Tom Ford gown. A totally covered up silhouette made of totally see through fabric – perfect. She finished the look with ombre hair and a dark eye. Oh wait Tom Ford turned up with the best accessory!

Jennifer Lopez looked HOT in Michael Kors the nude dress with black animal print beading showed of J Lo’s figure beautifully. The faux-hawk complemented the look and made it Punk! The look was finished off with a smokey eye and a nude lip.

It always pleases me to see Gwen Stefani! The singer/designer wore Margiela to the Met Gala, the black oversized bow top with white column skirt made me stop and wow! The black and white ensemble was teamed with a white box clutch, an asymmetric up-do with slick back sides, and her signature red lip.

Black velvet and long fringed leather was the look for Florence Welch, the singer wore Givenchy which seems to always totally work for her. The look was finished off with barely there make up, her firey red locks, and black nails.

Donatella Versace worked a look for both her and Lady Gaga, full on black sequins, sheer cutouts, one completely studded out shoulder and opposite cuff, and platinum blonde locks!

Christina Ricci wore a signature Vivienne Westwood look, the full on tartan corseted gown fit the petit star to perfection. The look was finished off with a vintage wave in the hair, fishnet tights, and an orange lip.

Cameron Diaz turned it out in this blue Stella McCartney dress with added cape! The actress took this classy look and made it punk with a studded belt, sleek hair, and a dark rimmed eye.

Let me tell you, I am all over this song!!!! Loved it when I heard the snippet in the Pepsi ad, but whenever Mrs Carter performs to a badass tune it just tips it over the edge. The Afro Beat vibe is killer, the dancers doing the Azonto is killer, and her shaking her booty in Kenzo in Paris is…yes you guessed it – KILLER! When the album drops Grown Woman is for sure gonna be on repeat at full volume so I can get the full effect of those African drums.
