You’ll remember the post on Charlotte Free for Forever 21 here, well the second launch of the Spring/Summer collection, Love is Free, is dropping in-stores and online this Saturday 26th May. The collection, modelled by Charlotte Free, includes neon statement pieces, floral pantsuits, Americana-inspired ensembles, and must-have metallic accessories.

The first 150 visitors to Forever 21’s UK flagship store at 360 Oxford Street will  get a major treat: an exclusive Love Is Free totebag and first dibs on the collection!

Nicole Richie’s Winter Kate SS12 collection is full of boho inspired pieces, floaty printed chiffon and bold colours. My favourite pieces have to be the nude tunic with monochrome print, the black halterneck with cream print, and the silk printed shorts. Watch the designer behind the scenes shooting the Indian inspired collection.

Blogger favourite, model Charlotte Free is the face of Forever 21’s Spring/Summer 12 campaign, “Love is Free”. The campaign is the brand’s first global launch and is part of a series of trend setting, edgy campaigns for the brand. Shot by famed photographer, Kenneth Cappello, Forever 21 captures the fun, and whimsical spirit of Charlotte in a series of striking poses and fashion-forward looks; making us want to be her in every single shot!

“Forever cool” Charlotte, whose image and style can be seen in Forever 21 stores starting next month, is dressed in the brand’s neon statement pieces, floral pantsuits, Americana-inspired ensembles, and must-have metallic accessories, as featured in the campaign’s lookbook.  Neon tank tops and dresses inspired by the campaign are currently available in stores, with more coming online and in stores next month.

Forever 21 is scheduled to create large in-store installations around Charlotte Free across select global stores with a series of “Love is Free” campaign products for purchase debuting in May. We can’t wait!!!

Italian fashion label Pinko has chosen Freak Deluxe (and I’m guessing Pinko’s too) favourite Supermodel Naomi Campbell as the spokesmodel for the new SS12 advertising campaign. The black and white campaign shot by Daniele  Iango has rich metallic nuances, gold and silver, lusciously soft shadings and intense chiaroscuro effects, the campaign evokes timeless elegance.

Alber Elbaz just made my life! French fashion house Lanvin has launched its first eyewear optical collection under the artistic direction of Alber Elbaz and in partnership with De Rigo Group, and I can’t wait to get me hands on it. Having recently débuted it’s 2012 Sunglasses Collection, the optical collection fits perfectly in line with the Lanvin style, the new exclusive glasses for men and women successfully interpret the Lanvin tradition with a mixture of both retro and contemporary details. Horn is the star of the collection, the colour palette is rich in natural beige and brown nuances, though also ocean blue hues, which embellish even the classic and timeless black and havana with innovative color combinations. The glasses will be available at Lanvin e-store and all Lanvin boutiques this Spring 2012. Until then watch the video below showing how they’re made – BY HAND!
