A myriad of checked fabrics moved down the catwalks during the AW13 collections, everyone and their mom’s used ‘menswear’ fabrics, whether it was houndstooth, Prince of Wales check, or just plain old tartan. Coats, suits, mini skirts, and dresses were covered in the stuff from Mulberry, Gucci, Stella McCartney, Lanvin, and House of Holland.
