NEW AD CAMPAIGN + LOOKBOOK – VERSACE FOR H&M SS12

Later this month sees round two of Versace for H&M! Following November’s sell-out collection, the iconic Italian fashion house will once again be offering affordable womenswear and menswear via the highstreet chain. Abbey Lee Kershaw and River Viiperi are once again the faces of the collaboration which will be available online at hm.com from January 19th.

I don’t know about you but my hero products are the “mens” white shirt with the blue print detail, closely followed by the blue pants and I also really want the lace hemmed chemise and dressing gown (one product, can’t have one without the other).

GUERLAIN TO RELEASE FIRST REFILLABLE MASCARA

The House of Guerlain is set to release a new refillable mascara Noir G de Guerlain. The first mascara to combine the luxury of a jewel case with an innovative new formula for defined eyes. The mascara also has a signature fragrance featuring notes of peach, green vegetables, rose, jasmine, benzoin and white musk. Noir G de Guerlain is priced at £35, with refills retailing at £19; the new mascara will exclusively be sold at Harrods from January 16th and rolls out nationwide from February 1.

NEW FRAGRANCE – L’EAU DE CHLOE

High fashion label Chloe have released a teaser trailer for a new version of their signature fragrance L’eau de Chloé. The new addition contains rose, citrus notes, and patchouli, which lends it a rare refreshing feeling. The bottle shadows the now familiar silhoutte, revealed through sheer, clear glass. The iconic ribbon, now with a soft green hue, echoes the spring freshness of the fragrance. French actress and model Camille Rowe-Pourcheresse is the face of L’eau de Chloé, who has already worked with the world’s top fashion photographers, and was recently seen in the movie “Our Day Will Come”, directed by Romain Gavras, and starring Vincent Cassel.

The advertising campaign filmed by Mario Sorrenti with visuals by Camilla Akrans is free-spirited and captures a delicate femininity. Shot in a country landscape, an escape to nature with a joyous spontaneity. Prices range from £36.50 for a 30ml EDT to £61 for 100ml; body lotion and shower gel are also available nationwide from 7th March 2012

 

NEW AD CAMPAIGN – MULBERRY SS12

Mulberry takes to the Great British Seaside for Spring Summer 2012. Inspired by creative director Emma Hill’s memories of the English seasides of her childhood they took the shoot down to Brighton beach with oversize sticks of rock, ice cream cones, and chip papers. The campaign features models Frida Gustavsson and Lindsey Wixson and was shot by celebrated British photographer Tim Walker on Brighton’s pebbled beach with the pier as the backdrop. Set designer Andy Hillman definitely captured the essence of the Great British Summer!

NEW AD CAMPAIGN – VERSACE SS12

The Versace SS12 ad campaign pics are in! It’s going to be a blue summer (with any luck), makes me want to hop on a plane to anywhere hot and sunny right now! Hmm Dubai, Morocco, Miami…shot in the Sonoran desert of Borrego Springs, California by go to photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott featuring Gisele Bündchen and Ryan Barrett looking blue flame hot hovering over a swimming pool with dry grass and cacti behind them.

Donatella has taken it back to Versace’s hay day with studded bustiers and heavy prints, Giovanni Bianco handled creative direction, while Joe McKenna and David Bradshaw worked on styling for the shoot. I’m really not digging the full suit in what looks like scorching heat, but I’m living for the platforms and studs on EVERYTHING!!! The ad is due to go in March fashion titles worldwide.
