District MTV and Select Model Management have come together for the exciting “New Face of District MTV” campaign, giving people the chance to launch their own presenting careers.

The Face of District MTV competition allows people the chance to break onto the presenting scene like Cindy Crawford, Alexa Chung and Dawn O’Porter. All you have to do is submit a brief 30 second video of yourself presenting a District MTV fashion show, by doing so you’ll be entered for a chance to win a variety of prizes. Such as, professional coaching from MTV producers, a meeting with Select Model Management for expert advice and mentoring, and the ultimate and exclusive privilege of presenting at London Fashion Week in September.

Melanie Hick, editor-in-chief of District MTV, said “The Face of District MTV competition is the chance to shortcut the sometimes difficult path to becoming an MTV-endorsed presenter. It’s ideal for someone with a great personality and brilliant presence who loves pop style. If this opportunity had have existed when I was starting out, I would have jumped at it!”

Submissions will be accepted until September 1, with winners announced September 9 2013.
