ASOS AFRICA SS14

Inspired by traditional African occasion wear, the ASOS Africa SS14 collection boasts authentic African lace partnered with sheer black organza overlays. Sourced and produced in Nigeria, these unique laces are mixed with digital monochrome prints on trousers and tunics, perfect for layering. Shades of spearmint and pastel pinks work with pretty scallop edges to soften sporty chevron jersey binding and baseball top styles.

ASOS Africa aims to help growth and empowerment in Africa, encouraging artisans and community groups as well as larger producers across the continent. ASOS will donate £2 from the sale of every SS14 ASOS Africa item to contribute to food and welfare facilities for SOKO workers.

ASOS Africa SS14 will launch this week!

ASOS  have teamed up with sports brand PUMA to bring you an eleven-piece jersey wear collection inspired by 90’s sports street-wear. The collection focusses on colour blocking and print, mismatching clashing graffiti with animal and check. A colour palette of black, white and grey marl is teamed with primary red pigments and metallic highlights while exaggerated sleeves, quilting and maxi silhouettes all play with proportion.

The PUMA logo is bold and experimentally stamped across sweats, tube dresses and motorcross inspired joggers using foil and high shine gloss print techniques. Hybrid styles are produced with the use of furry teddy bear material and leather sleeve detailing. The ASOS X PUMA Collection launches Monday 13th January.
