As a big shoe enthusiast I was excited to be invited to a preview of the Shoes for Show exhibition. The chance to see Beyoncé’s futuristic Gareth Pugh heels as seen in her ‘Girls’ video up close and personal was something I could not pass up.

The exhibition featured one-off shoes loaned by fashion’s finest including Daphne Guinness, Nicholas Kirkwood, Christian Louboutin, Gareth Pugh and many more, Shoes for Show spotlights high heels to be appreciated for their beauty, rather than their function. It offers an exclusive look at couture pieces from the private collections of well-known figures, one-off designs created for their two minutes of catwalk fame and heels that can only be described as an art form. Shoes for Show: The Sculptural Art of High Heels was curated by online shoe store Javari.co.uk
