GLASSES OF THE WEEK: GIVENCHY WITH FLYY HARDWARE!
This week’s GOTW are from Givenchy’s SS12 collection, I snapped these little beauties up at the #SummerSurgery thrown by Surgery PR; I couldn’t believe my luck! They tick all the boxes – great shape, black & gold, and flyy as hell!!! Check out the detail on the arms…nuff said! You can order these babies online at various sunglass shops, the style code is SGV 711.
GLASSES OF THE WEEK: MIU MIU “BROWN & ROUNDS”
It was love at first sight with these Miu Miu shades, this model evokes the retro style of the Miu Miu Noir Sunglasses capsule collection and features antiqued metal frames embellished with glitter tones. They’re available in three frames Tortoise Sand-Dark Brown, Tortoise Medium and Black.
GLASSES OF THE WEEK: POLAROID 1950 BROADWAY
I absolutely adore these glasses! The dramatic cat eye design is so retro yet totally on trend for now; and the monochrome detail just makes them so unique. The 1950 Broadway is part of the Polaroid Heritage collection, they have been handcrafted to perfection and recreated with the latest laser technology in two tone acetate, this style exudes all the authenticity and drama of the Polaroid original. All Polaroid glasses come with 100% UV protection and Polaroid polarized lenses.
You can purchase these glasses here for just £99!
LANVIN SUNGLASSES EXCLUSIVELY AT HARVEY NICKS
Beloved fashion brand Lanvin have decided to launch their first ever eyewear collection exclusively at Harvey Nichols. The line of sunglasses incorporates couture details and industrial aesthetics with a mix of both retro and contemporary features. Horn plays a huge part in the collection, as well as printed leather, crystals and stones. White metal frames feature bronze and gunmetal antique tones. I want at least 3 pairs from this collection but I’m not a millionaire yet! I’ll settle for the round horn frames. Available from Feb 1st from Harvey Nichols prices starting at £235.
