Trends are a bit like karma, ‘what goes around comes around’ and right now one of the biggest trends in hair right now is the ‘dip dye’ or ombré and pastel hair. In order to achieve these looks our hair, particularly if you’re a brunette or woman of colour, has to go through a series of processes; the most harsh being BLEACH! The weakest point of our hair is the ends, if not treated properly they get dry and brittle, split and eventually break at the best of times; just imagine what a harsh chemical like bleach can do! Now I’m all for changing my look, I used to change up every three months and still have a healthy head of hair.
