Anja Rubik covers fall issue of PORTER Magazine modelling the best of the Fall collections for Issue #4 and talks about perceptions of a supermodel, “We are no longer just images. We have a life, interests, passions…”

Lucy Yeomans, Editor-in-Chief, says: “In Porter’s fall issue, we acknowledge the fact that the “back to school” feeling (the French call it La Rentree) that September has been synonymous with since childhood never really leaves us. This is thus the best time – far more so than January – to implement real change, be that pursuing our career with renewed vigour and purpose, improving our attitudes to our well-being, or, with an exciting new fashion season upon us, investing in an empowering wardrobe to match our ambition. With all this in mind the Fall issue PORTER delivers an essential edit of the best new season fashion and beauty, as well as a host of women (from Martha Stewart to Anya Hindmarch) with big and brilliant ideas to share their wisdom and inspire each of us to realise our full potential.”

The fourth issue of PORTER is shoppable through NET-A-PORTER’s iPhone app and is available at newsstands globally and at NET-A-PORTER.COM and THE OUTNET.COM from Friday 1st August.

NATIVE YOUTH AW14 COLLECTION

NATIVE YOUTH AW14 LOOK BOOK HRES 17

Conceived from the intent to create socially relevant menswear aimed at showcasing the eccentricities of British design with refined precision; the Native Youth AW14 collection signifies a coming of age for the burgeoning Manchester born brand.

Casual wear runs the game in styles and looks; acid wash jersey and worker denim, alpaca and jacquard knits teamed with Japanese inspired enzyme washes. Knit effect jersey is also key alongside a strong collection of outwear pieces, snorkel parkas, wool duffle coats and updates of classic varsity and bomber shapes.

Through constant research, global travel, and thorough critique Native Youth have again created a range of solid Autumn/Winter essentials, whilst always remaining true to their original design philosophy – to make clothes that guys actually want to wear.

Native Youth continues to experiment with new fabrics and textural interests; introducing tough wearing cotton and nylon mixes, contrast fabric garment construction and exploration of different knitwear yarns and techniques with a heightened level of confidence.

The brand is currently stocked around the world, here are just a few key retailers: Pilot, Pysche, Need Supply, Ron Herman USA, Beams Japan, Robinsons Singapore, Citadium Paris.
