This week a group of us were lucky enough to be invited to Cath Kidston’s HQ over in west London for an evening of cake decorating, candle making, and a sneak preview of her new book Coming Up Roses. More importantly to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the brand.

Master baker Lily Vanilli was on hand to show us how to pipe the perfect red rose with red frosting, also how to decorate her delicious red velvet cakes with butter cream icing and real flowers. Hot scented wax was poured into Cath Kidston cups, glasses, and what we think were egg cups to make cute candles for the home. In keeping with the rose theme, we drank rose petal cocktails!

Coming Up Roses is available in stores from 25th April and is priced at £16.
