Trends are a bit like karma, ‘what goes around comes around’ and right now one of the biggest trends in hair right now is the ‘dip dye’ or ombrĂ© and pastel hair. CARINE ROITFELD COLLABERATES WITH MAC!
Famed Editor/Fashionista/Style Icon Carine Roitfeld is dipping her toes in the beauty pool and getting a little wet with MAC Cosmetics. The collaboration was inspired by ‘Last Night’s Party’ giving us the chance to mimic CR’s smoldering eyes and bold brows. “Makeup can help you capture a moment,” she says. “My makeup is a little bit messy, and it’s not perfect. Yet I think it is still a success. I like my makeup a little bit dark, like it’s falling apart. I find that charming.”
“I’ve always been like this, for 25 years,” Roitfeld says of her signature look. “I didn’t change, but people didn’t notice before.”

COLLAB: AZEALIA BANKS GETS A LIPSTICK WITH MAC!
Azealia Banks has sealed a deal with the giant that is MAC cosmetics! The 212 singer has lent her alter ego’s name ‘Yung Rapunxel’ to a new signature shade of a semi-matte lipstick. The aubergine shade will be available in the US only from Sept 5th online and in stores from the 6th, just in time for Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out. So I suggest those of you in the UK that have connections/family in the US sweet talk them to get you a stick (or five) as the statement lip is going to be big for AW12!
