MENSWEAR AW12: KENZO

Kenzo showed their latest menswear collection in an old railway station. The AW12 silhouette makes us think of the 1950s man from middle America mixed with the modern day guy, the cut and shape of the wool suits mixed with the colourful parkers, bomber jackets and accessories was a winner for us! The colour, print, and metallic petrol shoes are just the cherry on the cake.

MENSWEAR AW12: WALTER VAN BEIRENDONCK

Walter Van Beirendonck’s menswear collection for AW12, Lust never sleeps, was based around a literal face-off between masks: the kind that warriors in Papua, New Guinea, or voodoo high priests in the Caribbean paint on, and the leather kind that Western fetishists wear in big-city sex clubs. Using strictly black African models dressed bright tailored suits, fluffy mohairs, Clockwork Orange style bowler hats and full body leather waders.
