My boots came!!! First post with my new boots, that I lurve (BeyoncĂ© voice). As soon as they arrived I threw them on and went to my fabric shop (I was going anyway, didn’t just make a trip to Christen them) and I’ve worn them every day since. This is the first fur coat I ever bought, I used to wear it all the time before I got my black one. The fur gets absolutely everywhere, so I put it in a suit cover and left it in the wardrobe. We had a reunion, haven’t seen each other in about 2 years, maybe more! I love her just as much as I did when I first found her. (more…)
These boots were in the bottom of my wardrobe for months, to the point where I forgot I’d even bought them! I ordered them from Zara while doing a spot of online shopping with my Godmother in the summer, from when I made the purchase tip after they arrived I was in two minds about them 60:40 love / hate respectively. She was also in two minds but a similar ratio to me so urged me to buy them, don’t you just love shopping with those kind of people?
The boots are a suede and corduroy/brocade upper with a wedge heel. I’m still kinda in two minds, but at the same time I really love them (is that even possible?), as does my honey. Styling wise I can only see them with greyscale outfits (black & grey) which is perfect for me because I lurve those colours.
Better still I haven’t seen anyone else in them, like at all!!! That either means they’re truly hideous, or people were’t too sure of how they would wear them. I didn’t see them go in the sale though?!?! Anyway if they are that awful, they’ll be my Quasimodo and I their Esmeralda. (more…)
There really aren’t enough hours in the day/week/month for a busy bee like myself! Ever heard the saying “life get’s in the way…”? Well now I’m truly beginning to understand what that means; I have so much to do, along with so many things that I want to do – in order to take over the world (a la Pinky and the Brain).
Well, I got to have a couple of hours down time today to see my lil God-daughter and new God-son (sooooo cute!!!), got to catch up with one of my best friends over warm waffles and hot chocolate. A Â couple of hours bliss; then back to the grindstone. (more…)
Perfect outfit for running around town from one press day to the next; an oversize winter coat, ankle boots, sweater, and a comfortable pair of jeans (pretty much the ingredients of my day-to-day outfits). I found this coat in TK Maxx on Kensington High St a few years ago, it’s still one of my faves.
