I’m sure when we hear the words “Christmas Campaign” we think snow/tree/decorations/presents/cheesy “party wear”? Well not ASOS’s and not this Christmas! As you know here at FDHQ Azealia Banks has been giving us L.I.F.E. since she crept out of the Harlem woodwork, and it’s evident ASOS feel the same way, featuring the hip-hop artist in their #BestNightEver Christmas Campain. Today Miss Banks exclusively launched a previously unreleased single from her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste set for release next year.
The video, showing Azeals (can we call her that?) wearing her picks from the Christmas collection, is an interactive, shop-able music video that features product carousels and movable hotspots to enable the viewer click-to-shop the product worn by Azealia. Azealia’s Pinterest party diary will keep customers updated with the rapper’s venue-hopping and outfit-swapping throughout the festive period, and her specially created playlist will also be available in the ASOS Christmas hub. I don’t know about you but we think Azealia is handling that droopy chiney bump look; she’s very much giving us 90s Gwen Stefani! Check out the FIRECE video below.
