This weeks GOTW are from none other than 3.1 Phillip Lim! The designer’s optical and sunglass SS13 collection was inspired by comic books and superheroes, the inspiration was subtly displayed on the runway with capes and strong tailoring accents that represent power. This particular frame, the Mister, is a retro inspired frame “for men”;  the depth of the lens is perfect and the extension of the frame on the edge is a real style statement, moving them away from the typical half frame glasses. These frames actually resemble Magneto’s (X-Men) mask/helmet, you know the way they frame the face just on the top and the sides. They are available in Black, Mahogany, and Crystal Vapor.
