BLACK FLORAL CO-ORD

Floral fabrics with a black base have always been my fave, which is why I snapped this up as soon as I saw it. I made this black floral co-ord to wear to a friend’s wedding last month, and what a lovely day it was too! If you follow me on insta, you will have already had a sneak peak of this outfit, it was super comfortable to wear (even after all the food and drink), unlike the shoes!

Due to this being quite neutral I think I’ll be switching up the separates in different outfits.

DRESS YOUR SHAPE WITH M&S

Marks & Spencer’s have launched the Ultimate Dress Guide online. To celebrate, I got to pick a dress for my body shape.

I chose this mid length Striped Prom Dress for various reasons; 1) I love the colour palette and print, and 2) it’s perfect for my shape! The long sleeve’s, crew neck, and mid length is so me, and so perfect for this “Spring” weather we’ve been experiencing.

BOILER

I bought this jumpsuit/boiler suit in the January sales, I had a gift card to spend so was (what felt like aimlessly) roaming around Westfield London looking for something to purchase. I stumbled into Pull & Bear, had a quick eye look, because that’s all I had energy for at this point, then was about to leave.

This denim darling was right by the door, reduced from £50 to £20, perfect! I picked it up, took it to the till, then heard “that’s £12.99 please”. Don’t you just love when that happens?!

It’s a little short in the leg (obviously), the solution to that, for me is called, roll ’em up a little (so it looks intentional) and add some cute heels.

TTYA X LONG TALL SALLY

As you know I’m a tall chick with long legs, so you can imagine my deep joy when I heard that TTYA (Taller Than Your Average) and Long Tall Sally got together and had a baby. TTYA x Long Tall Sally launched today, the capsule collection is pretty major and here I am rocking the jumpsuit, which I hasten to add, is super super long!

ELEMENTS

What a week, and what a weekend to top it off! This weekend it’s my lil sis’s birthday and mother’s day!  Not sure about you but for me this means as well as Mommy’s gifts, there’s also gifts for Nanny too, as well as of course Lil My’s birthday pressies – and we’ll all be together celebrating, which will be lovely as me and Nanny live here in Birmingham, and Mom and sissy live in London.
