Me and Radley go waaaay back! I’m kidding, we really only just properly met. Radley to me was that person that everyone talks about, that you’ve seen before, but are not really sure what all the fuss is about. Well, if you read my post here, you’ll know that I have a new found love and respect for the brand.

Meet my new bag, yes, it is a Radley bag! I’m a convert! She’s from the Bloomsbury collection, and it was a toss up between this one and the cute round “canteen” shaped messenger bag. I love the minimal look of the collection; I went for the small grab bag as I wanted to add a different shape to my bag collection. However the canteen is still calling me, I just can’t get enough!!

COURTYARD

I don’t know about wherever in the world you are, but the weather has been shite here! Rainy day after rainy day, literally. Today was the first day we had a dry day, although it was grey AF, we had to find some time in between errands and meetings to snap some pics!

I love, love, love a striped top, particularly a black and white one ( a navy and white can get it too). It’s that time of the year where you can double up on your outerwear; I wore this longline tee with some ripped jeans, my leather jacket, and my camel overcoat. I christened my new flats, they took inspiration from these Marni beauties; right now it ain’t about that Marni money, so we settle with the beloved Zara!

DIY STUDDED SANDALS TUTORIAL

If you were a regular to LMSYW blog, you may remember months ago when I said I was about to under go a project to DIY some black on black studded sandals. Well I recorded the process and finally got round to editing it! You’ll have seen me rocking them with my ‘Black Addicted’ sweatshirt and ripped jeans outfit, I wore them during LFW and got an abundance of compliments for them.

TO AND FRO

To quote a Jay Z lyric “I came, I saw, I conquered…” (I know, Caesar said it first but c’mon), my translation – I came, I decorated, I unpacked (read: we)!

We’re now pretty much settled in our new home (the house party sealed that), which of course is fabulous, and we both really love it. However, we moved at such a busy time of year, at least for me; September-October is such a busy time (events, launches, fashion week, mom’s b’day, my b’day, dad’s b’day, press days, etc), all these trips to and from London are messing with my working momentum.

Not that I’m complaining AT. ALL! Well maybe a little, it’s a way of coping, but when there’s shit that needs to get done and it can’t do it because I physically don’t have the time, it plays on my mind, which plays with my sleep. Do you see where I’m going with this? No, me either.

Anyway, I’m headed to London tomorrow to be with my Mommasita for a week, then again a couple of weeks later for another week. After that, it’s all systems go up in that studio til Christmas; I needs my beauty sleep!!!

BLACK ADDICTED

The second I saw this Black Addicted sweatshirt, I knew it was for me! I mean I am somewhat addicted to all things black – me in a shop (especially homeware) “do you have this in black?” “OK, what about white?”. The distressed jeans were also a no brainer, and as for the trench – I live in it!

I bought these heels a while back in red first, which I wore here; as soon as the red arrived I knew I needed the black and that I had to stud them with black studs – black on black, whut?!. I’ll upload the vid of the process on here as soon as I’ve got round to editing it.

Right, I’m off to drink a jasmine tea while I finish some stuff for Freak Deluxe.
