Royal Ascot is one of the most popular and talked about events in the sporting calendar. I suspect that this year will be no exception. Held from 16th – 20th June, with approximately 300,000 people attending in total, the event demands an outfit which will make everyone envious. Here are some tips on finding the perfect outfit for Royal Ascot 2015:
Floral fabrics with a black base have always been my fave, which is why I snapped this up as soon as I saw it. I made this black floral co-ord to wear to a friend’s wedding last month, and what a lovely day it was too! If you follow me on insta, you will have already had a sneak peak of this outfit, it was super comfortable to wear (even after all the food and drink), unlike the shoes!
Due to this being quite neutral I think I’ll be switching up the separates in different outfits.

I love new shit, and I love the combination of black and gold, so these haute new pieces have made the last couple of months very joyous indeed.
However, it’s almost June and I haven’t been able to wear these sandals yet! The fact that we’re very much through Spring already, and I have not wore one pair of flat sandals actually pisses me off! I’m hoping that someone will just flip a switch and boom – SUMMER!!
